The Bottleneck: Great Streamer, Compromised Power
The Bluesound Node is praised worldwide for its user experience and versatility. However, to keep the device compact and affordable, the manufacturer had to make a compromise: the power supply.
Standard Nodes are internally equipped with a small, mass-produced Switching-Mode Power Supply (SMPS). While efficient, these units are unstable and generate significant electrical noise, which leads to interference and highly reduces the performance of sensitive circuits of the DAC and streaming module. This results in a "veil" over your music, masking fine details and reducing emotional impact.

A True Transformation
The Sbooster AIB (Active Interface Board) is not just a simple connector; it is a sophisticated piece of audio engineering designed to completely bypass and replace the internal switching power supply.
The Upgrade: You remove the stock power supply board and install the Sbooster AIB in its place.
The Power Source: The AIB connects externally to our BOTW P&P ECO MKII 5-6V linear power supply.
The Result: Your Node is now powered by pure, clean linear energy. The internal circuits can finally breathe. The noise floor drops dramatically, the background becomes ink-black, and the music detaches effortlessly from your speakers.
Audiophile Grade Design
The AIB is meticulously designed to maximize the potential of the Node N132, Node X, and Node N130:
Active Regulation (6V to 5V): The AIB does more than just connect power. By setting the external Sbooster BOTW to 6V, the AIB uses this headroom to actively regulate and filter the voltage down to a rock-solid 5V inside the Node. This ensures that the internal components receive the most clean and stable power as possible.
Advanced Filtering: The AIB is equipped with a Dual-stage non-inductive low-pass filter. This purifies the incoming current one last time.
Premium Components: We use high-quality hybrid polymer capacitors and an OEM-made gold-plated, high-current 2-pin connector for optimal conductivity.
Premium Wiring: Internal wiring is made of high-purity silver-plated OCC copper with PTFE insulation for perfect power transfer.
Advanced Shielding: Includes the unique Sbooster Decoy V2 to divert RFI away from the internal audio circuits.
