Leslie tested for us a BOTW P&P ECO 9-10V and the Sbooster Ultra MKII pre-production sample on an ultraRendu. Here is his feedback!

"To my ear there is no noticeable “digital” sound any longer. What there is is excellent coherent music emerging from a very “dark” silent background. Indeed, I happen to see the the Darko review of the sBooste/ultraRendu combination, which must have please you very much.  Alas, I don’t have much to add to his very positive response.  The music is wonderful.

I’ve listened to all types and genres extensively - from Red Label to the latest MQA recordings and everything sounds musical.  I’ve compared Miles Davis Kind of Blue on vinyl, CD, Hi-res downloads and Tidal streaming.  To my ear, the streamed sound, through the ultra-Rendu/sBooster combination, sounds wonderful.  Moreover, I now just sit with my iPad mini and explore the vast catalogue of music that is available instantly from Tidal/Roon without worrying about “hardware.”

Indeed, I don’t listen very much anymore to CDs or LPs.  I will say that my personal music listening goes all the way back to the early days of Hi-Fi, early stereo and mono recordings.  I’ve had tube amps, electro-static speakers, digital time-delay systems, moving coil cartridges and all manner of devices.  Avery Fisher, Saul Marantz, David Hafler, John Curl and Bob Carver and a legion of others were all people of great interest to me.  That said, I don’t believe anything has ever sounded as good as that which I am listening to now.

I direct a theatre movement company (Enchantment Theatre Company www.enchantmenttheatre.org) and we regularly perform with ensembles like the Cleveland Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony and the Montreal Symphony -  so, I hear lots of live orchestral music.  That said, I don’t ever confuse my listening room with a concert hall.  Nevertheless, the essential aspects of musical tone, timing and presence are quite available in my current  home system, which is rather modes in cost.  That is the miracle of the work that you and others are doing now and I congratulate you on your accomplishments

The BOTW P&P ECO 15-16V on the Auralic AriesThis was sent to our US-distributor, Pro-Audio, by an Auralic dealer obviously pleased that Sbooster resolved a typical voltage interruption problem.

“ Oh I forgot to tell you Brian; We had a customer who was having weird Aries behavior whenever his Central Air would turn on. He would get pauses and dropouts from his system when it would kick on. He tried power conditioners and other solutions but when he bought an Sbooster the problem went away. There must be a lot of CAPS in that box? Though you should know. It’s kind of a unique success story. "

The proof of concept: our power supplies generate a very stable output Voltage, even when the input Voltage drops. Our power supplies are certified to be able to handle over- and under Voltage.

The Sbooster Vbus Isolator on self-powered USB-dacs:

I had a lot of trouble with noise and static electricity, that was emitted from my Mac's USB port into the USB cable (no matter what brand). Touching my DAC gave me electric shocks and my music distorted after about 30 minutes. In the end my DAC broke and had to be repaired. After that first I solved this with an Uptone Audio REGEN. However, now this device got all of the noise and pollution. The SBooster Vbus USB Isolator disconnects the 5v wires in the USB socket. GREAT! No more pollution and static electricity. And for the sound quality: voices have no 'phase shifting' anymore. They sound so natural... the speakers have dissappeared. So, for short: save yourself a lot of trouble and improve your sound quality for a few bucks!

This is a great tweak for usb dacs that don't require usb power to work. It is easy and affordable and best of all, it really improves sound quality.

The BOTW P&P ECO 12-13.2V on a miniDSP DDRC-88A:

This is it, this is the s-booster! Clear and powerful sound without any distortion... And much more dynamic range!

The BOTW P&P ECO 12-13.2V on an Digibit Aria Mini:

Your product sounds wonderful with the Aria Mini. I still need to try it with some of the new M2Tech hardware.

From on of our resellers:

Both clients are very happy with the results. One of them said that his Aria Mini sounds better than my Krell Cipher CD player (US$13,000) :))).

Now I don't want to disconnect it again , the sound is so good !!!!

The BOTW P&P ECO 5-6V on a NAD D1050:

Thank you so much, I received delivery of the SBooster BOTW for NAD D1050 today.

Straight out of the box it made a huge improvement, much more than I was expecting. The SBooster gives the D1050 so much extra clarity that it sounds much more like the NAD M51 which I also own.

The BOTW P&P ECO 12-13.2V on a Synology DS212j NAS:

I have the BOTW P & P ECO 12-13,2V now in operation. This now provides my Synology DS212j NAS to the satisfaction of current. I am very excited about the improvement in sound quality and solid and compact design. Therefore I wish to use the 18-19V and 24V version on two other devices in my audio chain.

The BOTW P&P ECO 12-13.2V on an Arcam airDAC:

This weekend I bought a new SBooster with you (ed: one of our resellers) for my arcam airdac. Great result! Much more detail, and even more separation. Very satisfied with it.

The BOTW P&P ECO 5-6V or the Sbooster Ultra for the Uptone Regen: we received feedback from Denmark and Holland: for this we refer to Computer Audiophile.

The BOTW P&P ECO 15-16V with 15V Sbooster Ultra on the Auralic Aries Femto, where the LPS of Auralic has replaced by the BOTW P&P ECO 15-16V, we refer to Hififorum.de #504 and #505

The BOTW P&P ECO 12-13.2V with a special connector on the Lynx Studio Technology Hilo Reference A/D D/A converter system:

Received the Sbooster for my Lynx Hilo today. Powering its battery port with the xlr adapter that you've provided worked nicely from scratch.

The gain in sonic quality is AMAZING :-) I have an absolute Hi End System with big Avantgarde Acoustic horn speakers and very expensive custom built tube amplifiers and already optimized dedicated power supply to my listening room as well as a professional passive power filter  for recording studios. Not to mention very good power cords and cabling.

However, the sonic gain is at component upgrade level ! Thanks for such a wonderful product. I will add more Sboosters to other components also.

This feedback proves that our BOTW P&P ECO over-performs a battery!
The argument is for using a battery is to prevent noise coming from the mains. But a battery is very slow because the current is provided by a chemical reaction and can therefore never deliver enough current when an audio device needs more current for the peak loads etc.. The reason why the BOTW is better power solution than a battery for digital audio devices, is because the PSU-part of the BOTW is due to the split-current system very fast, so it can handle all the peak loads and have the processors work at their best. Although the BOTW is connected to the mains, due to all the filtering techniques at the start of the BOTW and a final one just before the voltage and current enters the audio device, makes that the ripple and noise are negligible.

The BOTW P&P ECO 12-13.2V on video-streaming prducts like the Magic TV:

Hi Karin,
The 12V version works perfect with Magic TV, it improves the video quality and sound quality.
